Now, analysts think the reason Kate is so well loved by royal fans is down to her reserved personality. The Duchess of Cambridge is often seen with her husband Prince William conducting video calls and other royal duties.

Even throughout the coronavirus pandemic, the couple could be seen in videos recorded from their home which made them all the more popular.

The KensingtonRoyal Twitter page – the official account of the Duke and Duchess – has at over two million followers.

In a recent video in which Kate spoke ahead of the Wildlife Photographer of the Year award, followers heaped praise in the comments.

He added: “I haven’t seen her lose her temper with a photographer or lash out.”

At the same time, analysts have also noted Kate’s lighter side when she carries out royal duties.

In recent days, the Duchess appeared alongside Prince William in a video call in which they played Pictionary with school children.

At one point, the Duchess made a light-hearted jab at her husband, chiding him for not practicing enough at art.

Some have also pointed to Kate’s fashion sense, which have been described as ‘timeless’ and risk-free.

In her wildlife photo video, the Duchess was seen wearing a black dress with matching blazer.

A month prior, when she and William toured London to visit communities hit by the COVID-19 pandemic, Kate wore a floral shirtdress to coincide with autumn.

Meanwhile, many also praised Kate’s husband Prince William for his recent royal engagement with the Queen.

The two visited the Government’s Defence Science and Technology Laboratory to open up a new Energetics Analysis Centre.

The Queen opted for a pink jacket and coat while the Duke wore a darker suit and jacket.

One user said it was “great” to see the Queen and the Duke together.

However, some criticised the royals for not wearing masks during the visit. One said: “The entitlement of this. No mask-wearing when you could have set a real example and shown that it is okay to wear a mask.”
