Andrew Garton will take over as BPDTS’s Chief Financial Officer from 1 April.
Andrew joins BPDTS having been the head of the Digital Finance Business partner team in the Department of Works and Pensions. Andrew is a Chartered Accountant with extensive experience both in the private and public sector. Andrew joined DWP Finance in 2006 and has held a number of senior finance roles across the organisation.
Talking about becoming BPDTS CFO, Andrew said:
I am delighted to take on the role as CFO with BPDTS Ltd at a key time for the company, and I am looking forward to working with board and new colleagues to ensure a smooth and successful transition into DWP. I am immensely proud to have the opportunity to utilise my skills and experience to help BPDTS, in partnership with DWP, to continue to transform DWP digital services to millions of UK citizens over the coming months.
Mal Singh, the current Chief Finance Officer, and Executive Board director, will step down from 31 March 2021 to take up a new role in the wider DWP family.
