Police are appealing for information after three women walking along the street sustained stab wounds. They believe the suspect is a male, who used a pedal bike to get across Belfast for the attacks. All three women have been taken to hospital for injuries, which are believed to be non-life threatening.
Police have launched a manhunt for the alleged man after the horror series of attacks, which took place within the space of two hours.
A spokesperson for the PSNI said: ““The first incident occurred at approximately 8.10pm on Ormeau Avenue.
“The second occurred at approximately 9.00pm on Donegall Square West.
“And the third occurred at approximately 10.00pm on University Road.”
