A leaked memo showed that pro-Brussels Tory MPs were planning to publish a joint letter tomorrow expressing opposition to the alternative Brexit blueprint being championed by Boris Johnson and other Eurosceptics.
The memo, sent by former Tory minister Philip Lee to party colleagues, also expressed support for a second referendum on Britain’s membership of the EU.
