Kate, Duchess of Cambridge, 39, is celebrating her birthday this Saturday and is expected to spend a quiet day in Norfolk with Prince William, 38, Prince George, seven, Princess Charlotte, five, and Prince Louis, two. The Duchess is a keen amateur photographer and has made it something of a tradition to take official birthday portraits of her children and husband herself.
Over the past year, Kate’s intimate family snaps have delighted royal fans and she has shared new photos to celebrate William, George, Charlotte and Louis’s birthdays.
However, the Duchess is unlikely to have turned the camera on herself this year as England is in the midst of another national lockdown.
Will Kate share new photos on her birthday?
While Kate enjoys taking photos, it seems unlikely that any new portraits of the Duchess will be shared with the public this year.

As England remains in lockdown, the Duchess will be prevented from marking the milestone with wider family and friends.
Last year guests at Anmer Hall for Kate’s birthday weekend included her parents Carole and Michael Middleton.
While Kate does most of the cooking at home, Prince William could treat her to a special meal this evening.
The dedicated parents are tasked with teaching George and Charlotte at home until schools reopen.
