During the Royally Obsessed podcast, royal experts Roberta Fiorito and Rachel Bowie discussed Kate and Prince William’s recent engagement at Nessa’s arcade on Barry Island. Ms Fiorito stated that the Duchess of Cambridge failed to socially distance or wear a mask during her time in the arcade.
Ms Fiorito said: “They did not socially distance that was my only thing, because they were indoors, and they did not have masks on.
“That is where I was a bit like, she leaned close to the kid.
“They were wearing masks later at the Senior Care Centre but not in the arcade.
“They were inside and they were not far apart.”

Ms Bowie replied: “It is kind of like Kate if you are going to wear it to one inside event just wear it to all the inside events.
“I don’t really get it.”
Ms Fiorito added: “Potentially everyone seeing them gets COVID tests would be my assumption, I am sure there is a lot of preparation.”
Ms Bowie responded: “They wouldn’t risk it with the future king but still that is a lot of work to do.”
Mr Smith said: “I think it was far too extravagant anyway as was Harry’s and was William’s.
“These are essentially private events that turn into spectacles which end up costing us millions of pounds on things like security and disruption to normal business.
“The way Beatrice’s wedding was is what all of them should have done.
“That was obvious from as far back as 10 years ago when William and Kate announced their engagement.”
