The Labour MP fumed over the alleged incident in east London in a post on Twitter.
She said she had filmed it and would be sharing more details.
Ms Butler tweeted: “I JUST GOT STOPPED BY THE POLICE DRIVING THROUGH HACKNEY… MORE DETAILS TO FOLLOW… @metpoliceuk I recorded the whole incident.”
