Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are approaching their one-year review on Megxit after stepping down as senior royals in March 2020. Us Weekly’s Royally Us show host, Christina Garibaldi, has claimed the exit has “worked out” for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. She added that the royals will not make an announcement on March 31.

Ms Garibaldi said: “It officially ends on March 31 so I don’t think they’re going to make a big announcement about it.

“I don’t think they’re going to make a big deal about it.

“I think they’re just going to say, ‘ok, privately this is over and if you want to continue what you’re doing that’s fine’ and move on.

“I don’t think there’s going to be this huge sit down or dramatic meeting via Zoom.

“I think this has worked out for Harry and Meghan. Why would they need to go back?”

The Queen, 94, is due to review the Megxit deal with Harry where they will discuss his future with the Royal Family as well as his titles.

Royal expert Russell Myers has claimed the Queen will want to “clip the wings” of Harry and Meghan as they become increasingly popular in the US.

He said Harry would not be banned from returning for major royal milestones but a deal “needs to work for both parties”.

“I think that will be the main crux of these meetings that are coming up in the future.”

He added: “I think there’s a lot of water under the bridge.

“We have to remember that it was an absolute bombshell statement that they didn’t tell the Queen, they didn’t tell Charles or William – the senior royals.

“They completely blindsided them with their decision and I think tensions are still running pretty high with that, to be honest.”
