Now their excitement has reached fever pitch after CBS released a teaser of the pre-recorded interview, that airs on March 7. Some commentators have claimed that the interview will be a damp squib carefully choreographed to prevent embarrassing disclosures. While others have suggested that Meghan will not hold back as she puts her account of Megxit on the record.
However a promotional video clip released by CBS on Sunday would appear to suggest that no prisoners will be taken during the interview.
In one segment, Ms Winfrey says: “I just want to make it clear to everybody there is no subject which is off limits.”
Another section shows the famous chat show host asking Meghan: “Were you silent or were you silenced?”
A third commented: “I think this #HarryandMeghan interview with @Oprah is going to be both revelatory and heartbreaking.”
A Royal source told recently that it was “time to hide behind the sofa at the palace,” in reference to the Oprah interview.
They warned that the TV star is “skilled at getting people to talk about their feelings and bound to take them down a path they’ll almost certainly regret.”
