On Sunday, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced they are expecting a second child. However, the royal couple did not reveal how many months Meghan has been pregnant for or when the baby is due.
In a statement, a spokesperson for the Sussexes said: “Archie is going to be a big brother.
“The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are overjoyed to be expecting their second child.”
Meghan and Harry also released a black and white picture which highlighted the Duchess’ prominent baby bump.
Royal commentator Camilla Tominey told Today Extra: “Normally you would expect news to come along when she is three months, but we think she is about five months.”
If Ms Tominey’s predictions are correct, Meghan and Harry’s second child is likely to be due in the middle of 2021.
The royal expert explained how the new Sussex baby’s arrival could coincide with several other royal events expected to take place in June.
Ms Tominey said: “In June… it’s the Duke [of Edinburgh]’s 100th birthday, it’s Trooping the Colour, which the royals will go ahead despite the coronavirus pandemic.”
Prince Harry was also expected to return to the UK in time for the unveiling of a new Princess Diana statue at Kensington Palace on July 1.

Before the Sussexes’ baby news was announced, royal experts already suggested Meghan would not be returning to Britain with Harry.
Royal author Omid Scobie explained how the couple did not want to travel with their son Archie during the coronavirus pandemic.
He told OK! magazine: “Neither Meghan or Harry have been vaccinated and travel plans are still very much up in the air.
“Meghan wouldn’t want to be away from Archie and it would be very tricky to factor a small child into their travels with all the restrictions that could potentially be in place.
“It is not Meghan’s intention to snub the family.
“If Covid wasn’t a factor, she would be there.”
The Queen and Prince Philip were “delighted” about Meghan and Harry’s baby news.
A statement from Buckingham Palace said: “The Queen, the Duke of Edinburgh, the Prince of Wales and the entire family are delighted and wish them well.”
