Their new Santa Barbara neighbours include the likes of Tom Cruise, Jennifer Lopez, Steven Spielberg, Whoopi Goldberg, Kevin Costner, and Oprah Winfrey.
Oprah Winfrey is a close friend of Meghan’s and there was even speculation they would spend Meghan’s 39th birthday together on August 4.
Ahead of Meghan’s big day royal expert Katie Nicholl told ET there was speculation Meghan and Harry could take a road trip with Oprah for some “time out” on her birthday.
Ms Nicholl said: “There have been court cases, now this explosive book which has really seen them come under fire — so, yeah, I would say the best thing is probably to get away for a couple of days if they can, and apparently that is what she’s thinking of doing, taking a road trip, possibly with Oprah and just getting some time out.”
