The festive picture is their first Christmas card since relocating to America earlier this year. The Duke and Duchess of Sussexes’ card is a drawing of an image taken by Meghan’s mother Doria earlier this month.
The royal couple can be seen playing with Archie in the garden of their US home along with the pair’s dogs Pula and Guy.
However, social media users took to Twitter on Wednesday accusing the Sussexes of “hiding” Archie by using a cartoon instead of a real photograph.
One user wrote: “Why are they hiding their child? Something isn’t right.”
While another user posted: “They’re still hiding Archie…..”
A third wrote: “A photoshopped cartoon??? Really! Clever way of hiding Archie.”
A fourth person posted: “It’s nothing more than a ridiculous cartoon image! Why are they hiding out Archie?
“This child needs social interaction with other children and get outside of ‘his bubble’ in order to lead a normal life! What about his future mental well being – good grief!”
Other users were quick to spot Archie’s “red hair” in the drawing.

The card appears to show a playhouse in the couple’s garden which has been decorated with a festive tree.
Within the card, the Duchess wrote: “This year we, as a family, have made donations to several charities with you in mind.
“From a local California organisation that helps families transition out of homelessness, to two of our U.K. patronages: one that supports animal and community welfare, and the other, a memorial fund for a cherished friend that helps to educate children and fight poverty in Uganda, we have honoured their work on behalf of all of us.”
Some social media users took to Twitter to praise the Sussexes on their “unique” Christmas card.
One Twitter user wrote: “I have to say Harry and Meghan won the holidays by using a painting for their Christmas card.”
Another user posted: “I really love this Christmas card. I’m so proud that Harry & Meghan are trying to give Archie a normal childhood as Diana too wished for her boys.”
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex stepped down as senior members of the Royal Family earlier this year.
The couple spend Christmas in Canada last year before announcing their departure from royal duties.
In November, the Duchess revealed in an article for The New York Times that she had a miscarriage in July.
She wrote: “Losing a child means carrying an almost unbearable grief, experienced by many but talked about by few.”
