The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who quit royal duties earlier this year, are hosting a TIME100 Talks episode next Tuesday. The theme is “Engineering a Better World” and it will feature a range of guests.

The ex-Suits star and the Queen’s grandson will discuss online communities.

A stunning black and white photo of Meghan and Harry was released ahead of the virtual event.

In the candid snap, Meghan is laughing as she looks away from the camera.

She is sitting in a chair and is leaning on Harry who is sitting on the arm.

The former actress looks stylish in a black blazer and trousers.

Harry, who is smart in a suit and shirt, smiles as he faces the camera.

TIME editor in chief and CEO Edward Felsenthal said: “Since launching in April, TIME100 Talks has focused on solutions and visions of a better future through conversations with extraordinary leaders from around the world.

Meghan and Harry appeared in a video for Time magazine last month which saw them urge people to vote in the upcoming US presidential election.

The intervention sparked a backlash, with Buckingham Palace distancing itself from Harry’s comments.

Speaking in the video, he said: “As we approach this November, it’s vital that we reject hate speech, misinformation and online negativity.”

Meghan, who has previously been critical of Donald Trump, added that the November poll was the “most important election of our lifetime”.

She said: “When we vote, our values are put into action and our voices are heard. Your voice is a reminder that you matter, because you do and you deserve to be heard.”

Meghan and Harry are starting a new life in America after quitting as working members of the Royal Family.

They are living in an £11 million mansion in California with their young son Archie.

Their new careers include a deal with Netflix to make shows for the streaming service.
