Mr Markle, 76, who lives in Rosarito, Mexico, is reportedly working with a cinematographer on the film and is aiming to have it done by later this year. The former lighting director took part in a Channel 5 documentary about former actress Meghan last year.
An Express.co.uk poll – which ran from 12pm to 10pm today – asked: “Would you watch Thomas Markle’s documentary about the Duchess?”
Out of 5,439, 60 percent (3,365) said they would watch the documentary.
While 38 percent (1,956) said they wouldn’t and just two percent (118) said they don’t know.
One reader said: “I think Mr Markle has given up trying to build bridges.
While another person said: “Let him have his say and make some money from it.
The documentary may feature previously unseen home footage of Meghan.
Mr Markle told : “My documentary will have some new videos and my favourite photo of my ‘baby girl’ and we try to figure out what went wrong.
“I think we will do a good job.”
Meghan has been estranged from her father since he did not attend her royal wedding to Prince Harry in May 2018.
A personal letter she wrote him is at the centre of a High Court privacy battle.
