In the clip, Meghan discusses female empowerment and voting in the upcoming US election with activist Gloria Steinem. The Duchess of Sussex has been outspoken on the importance of voting over the past week. Her comments on voting in the US election come after she and Prince Harry stepped away from the Royal Family in March this year.
Fans of the Duchess were overjoyed to see the clip of Meghan and Ms Steinem, but also noted the dogs appearance.
The Royally Obsessed podcast said “what a star!” about Pula’s appearance.
Another Instagram user added: “Look at Guy he is so adorable and so is the beautiful black lab.”
One Twitter user said: “Look at how they positioned themselves. Too cute. Bodyguards.”
The short clip teased a full Q&A between the Duchess and activist to be released tomorrow.
But in the short clip, the pair agree about the importance of voting, with Ms Steinem claiming “if you don’t vote, you don’t exist”.
She added: “What worries me the most are young people, who I understand are the least likely to vote and I can understand the feeling that they don’t think they have an impact.
“Yet, it’s more important for them to vote than anyone else because they’re going to be alive long after I am, and they’re going to be suffering the consequences.”
It follows Meghan’s appearance at Michelle Obama’s When All Women Vote event last week.
Her appearance saw the Duchess talk about the importance of American women using their 19th amendment right.
She said: “We can and must do everything we can to ensure all women have their voices heard because at this juncture if we aren’t part of the solution we are part of the problem.
“If you aren’t going out there and voting you are complicit. If you are complacent, you are complicit.”
