Ms Rulli said: “When this was first announced and written about all of a sudden it struck me what a big deal that really is.
“I had not put it together, Meghan voting as an American in the US election, it was like big whoop.
“But then you read the headline of ‘British royal voting in US election’.
“It also drove it home for me what an incredible marriage this is and an alliance it could be.

“The fact that you do have an American and a British man who are now married and can become citizens of each other’s countries.
“Meghan voted this year, but they can actually vote in each other’s elections.
“It is pretty incredible.”
During the same podcast, the royal experts discussed the fact, Queen Elizabeth II has not condemned Meghan Markle and Prince Harry in public or behind closed doors for their political intervention
“I think sometimes that criticism or the controversy that we see written about is often very different from what is felt behind the scenes.”
Ms Rulli replied: “That is very interesting, I had not thought of that.
“The way the Palace views what they are doing could be totally different from what certain media outlets are reporting.
“I think we have gotten so used to linking the two together, but it is curious and interesting that you have not heard rumblings from the Palace.”
