Samantha Markle has written a tell-all book about the turbulent relationships within the Duchess of Sussex’s family. In her new book, ‘The Diary of Princess Pushy’s Sister: A Memoir, Part One’ Samantha claimed Meghan should have postponed her wedding to Prince Harry after their father’s heart attack.

The half-sister also blasted the Duchess of Sussex for being “controlling”.

However, sources claim Meghan is not bothered about Samantha’s new memoir.

Speaking to Vanity Fair, a friend of the Duchess of Sussex said the book has “barely registered on her radar”.

They added: “Meghan has not seen Samantha for years so the idea that she is worried about the book is nonsense.

“Meghan barely knows Samantha, they haven’t seen each other for nearly 20 years.”

The Duchess last saw Samantha in 2008, according to Vanity Fair.

Despite the fact the pair have not seen each other for nearly two decades, the royal’s half-sister has claimed Meghan is “not the same”.

She claimed the Duchess was “mean” on the phone to her father as soon as Prince Harry left the room.

She said: “The Royals couldn’t postpone the wedding so that my father could be included, and I knew it was not unreasonable that they reschedule, given resources available to make that happen.”

Samantha’s book was published in the US by the small press Central Park South Publishing founded in 2020.

According to reports, the book includes chapters titled Markle Beginnings, The Queen Would Be Appalled and Looking For Mr Right The Wrong Way.

Samantha’s book cover reads: “Things are not always as they seem, in a world where social labels and perceptions often define who we are, how we live, and how we view each other.

“With a B.A. in sociology, and an M.A. in counselling, Samantha never thought she would find herself caught in between the cross hairs of media mayhem, as she defends herself, and her father, by dispelling social labels, and ‘fake news’, when her sister marries a Duke, and a Royal fairy plummets from ‘the tea towels’.

“Samantha holds firmly to the belief that truth, family, and faith, triumph over all perceptions, ‘plots and ultimatums’. The truth is stranger than fiction.”

Samantha has said she is already working on a second revealing book.

In the midst of her half-sister’s memoir, Meghan is also thought to be considering book deals.

A source told Vanity Fair: “Meghan has some very serious book deals on the table. They are all up for consideration.”
