Ms Markle is to debut as a writer on January 17, when her book The Diary of Princess Pushy’s Sister Part 1 will be released in the US. Meghan’s half-sister has promised this book won’t be a “slamming tell-all story” – but the Duchess of Sussex may not be comfortable with some of the things she has penned.
Speaking about her upcoming memoir, Ms Markle said: I don’t know if she will be comfortable with it.
“Some things she will and some things she won’t.
“It’s fair and balanced. Naturally, some things she will like and some things she won’t.
“Truth is stranger than fiction and I have predicated myself on the truth.
“It was never meant to be a slamming tell-all and be frivolous and meaningless.”
Ms Markle added the book won’t be entirely focused on Meghan but will lift the lid on the impact the Royal Wedding and what came after had on her family.
Speaking to , Ms Markle continued: “It deals with my life and my perspective on several issues in the road as they intersect with this royal event in history.

Ms Markle first announced she would release a memoir in April 2017, more than one year before Meghan and Harry tied the knot in Windsor.
This 328-page book, published Barnes and Noble, has the synopsis: “Amidst a firestorm of fake news and media mayhem, Samantha Markle shares the truth about her life and family against all odds and ultimatums, as a royal fairytale plummets from the tea towels.
“Sometimes the truth really is stranger than fiction.”
Ms Markle and Meghan are related through their father, Thomas Markle Snr.
Over the past few years, Ms Markle has been an ardent and vocal critic of Meghan.
In November 2016, she branded the then-star of US legal drama Suits a “social climber”.
In April 2018, just a month before the Royal Wedding, Ms Markle attacked Harry and Meghan for not inviting any member of the Markle family.
She wrote on Twitter: “Out of respect and humanitarianism, the Markles should be invited if 2,000 complete strangers are.
“Our uncle, brother, me, best friend of 30 years, nephews. Our issue is not a matter of closeness. Family is family.”
One year later, Ms Markle delved into rumours of a rift between Kate, Duchess of Cambridge, and Meghan saying the Duchess of Sussex was “jealous” of her sister-in-law.
Ms Markle, who has never met Kate, said: “I believe that there is a jealous streak in Meg, she does like to be the centre of attention and I feel like that is what is going on now.”
Following the birth of Archie Harrison, Ms Markle, who had already attacked Meghan for not travelling to meet her estranged father, said she hoped the little Sussex would one day meet her side of the family.
