According to the ITV host, Government officials have refused to make any appearance on the breakfast show despite calls from Mr Morgan and co-host Susanna Reid.
Despite boycotting GMB, Government ministers have appeared on other breakfast shows including ITV’s This Morning.
Now, after 170 days of ministers boycotting the breakfast show, Mr Morgan has dubbed the Government “gutless weasels”.
He tweeted: “So, as everyone knows, the Govt has boycotted @GMB for over 170 days.
“Given the gutless weasels refuse to come to me, I decided to go to them.
“In the middle of the night. With a projected and a message from my new book.”
Mr Morgan projected words onto the Houses of Parliament urging the government to “wake up”.
The projected message said: “Wake up. Our eyes have been opened.
“We must never close them again.”

Taking to Twitter, he said: “BREAKING: We’re back – but the Govt boycott of @GMB is continuing.
“Tomorrow will be the 126th day since any minister appeared on our show”.
He added: “You might think this is pathetic.
“I couldn’t possibly comment.”
