The 37-year-old is widely known for keeping a low profile away from the Royal Family, yet during an unearthed interview Pippa discussed her relationship with Kate, and how that had altered since she joined the Firm in 2011. When asked how things had changed, she said: “Not particularly, I mean obviously she has pressures that she’s taking on and things but we spend a lot of time together. “We still do a lot together as a family and I think that sort of the part for all of us is having a really close family that we can sort of be normal with each other, treat each other normally and that sort of keeps us fixed to the ground.”
She added: “We have a very normal sister relationship, where we’re very close and we support each other and get each other’s opinions and things.”
The interview aired in 2014 on Today, a year after Kate gave birth to Prince George, whose arrival was widely marked by the public, and leading political figures, across the globe.
Pippa was also asked about what her new nephew was like, and added on being an aunt: “It’s wonderful, he’s amazing. He’s a very, very dear boy and he’s brought a lot of pleasure and fun for all of us, the whole family.
“He’s very characterful and he’s bringing us all together and we love spending weekends with him and he’s very funny.”

“You can have all the ideas in the world, but it has to be about them. And don’t muscle in on the guest list.”
Away from royal life, Pippa is highly regarded for her love of exercise and staying fit, regularly competing in endurance events and races across the globe.
For example she once completed a 3,000-mile cycling race across the US and a seven kilometre swim in Istanbul to raise money as part of her role as an ambassador to the British Heart Foundation.
Then in 2015, alongside husband James Matthews, she participated in a 47-mile swim, in honour of her partner’s brother who lost his life while on a mountain climbing trek.
