The Prime Minister said we have “reached a perilous turning point” in our fight against COVID-19 as he set out stricter measures. And in a comprehensive survey to judge the mood of the nation, Express.co.uk is asking how well you think the Government has handled the crisis.

Among the new rules, pubs and restaurants will close from 10pm with only table service allowed, while wedding attendance was reduced to a maximum of 15 people.

Face masks must now be worn by all those working in retail, travelling in taxis and staff and customers in indoor hospitality – except when sat at a table to eat or drink. With that in mind Express.co.uk is asking do you think the Government has prepared well for the second wave?

Also in the statement was a u-turn on work, with the Prime Minsiter telling employees to work from home if they could, just weeks after urging staff to return to the workplace. Our survey is asking if you think the guidance has been clear and comprehensible?

Many are critical of the Government’s test and trace system which has seen scores of people sent hundreds of miles to their nearest test centre as facilities become overwhelmed. Do you think the NHS Test and Trace system is working well?

The Conservatives have brought in multi-billion pound measures including furlough and Eat Out to Help out, and we want to know if you think they were a good use of public money?

And with the rule of six barring limiting the number of people who can gather, including children in England, is the policy too strict? And should neighbours snitch on each other for breaking the rules?

These are some of a number of questions in our coronavirus survey guaging how Britain thinks the Government is handling the crisis.
