Daily Express royal correspondent Richard Palmer also tweeted about the news, writing: “Prince Charles has had his first Covid-19 vaccination as well as the Duchess of Cornwall, Clarence House says.
“‘The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall have had their first Covid-19 vaccinations.’”
Later, it was revealed that Charles’s son Prince William, 39, tested positive for the virus in April.
He did not share the news at the time amid fears it may detract from more pressing UK news.
