The caption read: “The Earl and Countess of Wessex and Forfar caught up with local frontline services, volunteers and businesses as part of a virtual visit to Forfar yesterday.
“Their Royal Highnesses heard from @NHSTayside @policescotlandofficial @AngusCouncil and Voluntary Action Angus for an update on the local response to the pandemic, and thanked everyone involved for their tireless efforts to protect the community.
“The Earl and Countess were also virtually reunited with staff, volunteers and four-legged friends from @guidedogsuk’s Forfar Training Centre, to find out how they have continued training guide dogs within COVID-19 restrictions.”
The Instagram post also featured snaps of the couple on their first official visit to Forfar in July 2019.
