Prince Harry said he was “absolutely over the moon” after announcing the arrival of his baby son Archie on 6 May 2019. After they started a new chapter with their son, it was soon time to celebrate their first wedding anniversary on 19 May 2019.

Prince Harry gave the Duchess of Sussex a beautiful personalised eternity ring that honoured both his marriage and Archie’s birth.

Royal fans speculated about the Duchess’ new diamond ring on her wedding finger.

But it has been revealed that Prince Harry designed the piece with American jeweller Lorraine Schwartz.

She has previously made high-end pieces of jewellery for women including Beyoncé and Elizabeth Taylor.

Prince Harry paid tribute to his family through birthstones for the Duchess, Archie and himself.

A source told Harper’s Bazaar: “Meghan was touched.”

They added: “A lot of thought went into it.”

The ring features a green emerald stone for Archie, a blue sapphire for Prince Harry and an olive-green peridot for the Duchess.

Prince Harry reset and resized the ring with a beautiful new diamond band.

The Duchess first showed the ring to the public at last year’s Trooping the Colour parade.

Since their first wedding anniversary, the Sussexes decided to step down as senior members of the Royal Family.

Since March the couple have been living in the US with Archie in a Santa Barbara mansion.

The couple were last seen marking Remembrance Day at Los Angeles cemetery where Prince Harry laid a wreath.

The Duke of Sussex spent 10 years in the armed forces where he undertook two tours of Afghanistan and rose to the rank of Captain.

He was pictured wearing a navy suit which displayed his service medals and a remembrance poppy.

The Duchess wore a long black coat with a belt paired with black heels.

The Duchess also wore a red poppy and held a small black clutch back.

The pair were also seen wearing face masks on the way to the cemetery due to the coronavirus pandemic.
