Sources close to the Royal Family have detailed their concerns about the brother’s ongoing disagreement. The brothers are reportedly at odds over comments William made to Harry about Meghan Markle at the start of their relationship. The breaking point between the royals was detailed in an explosive tell-all called Finding Freedom: Harry, Meghan and the Making of a Modern Royal Family.

Before the books release, palace insiders told authors Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand that William and Harry’s relationship is essential to the monarchy.

One said to the authors: “We cannot have them at war.”

Another said at a Kensington Palace “summit” in 2019 that Harry and William’s popularity with the public is crucial to helping the monarchy survive when Prince Charles becomes king.

They added: “We need to design a system to protect the monarchy full stop.

“The future of this monarchy relies solely on the four people currently in Kensington Palace.

“The public popularity only lies with them. When he becomes king, the only way it lasts is if the four of them are not at war.”

According to Finding Freedom, William “p* Harry off” when meeting Meghan for the first time.
In a conversation with his younger brother, William is said to have referred to Meghan as “this girl”, and urged him not to rush into the relationship.
The authors said Harry’s reaction was explosive, and added: “In those last two words ‘this girl’ Harry heard the tone of the snobbishness that was anathema to his approach to the world.
“During his 10-year career in the military, outside the royal bubble, he had learnt not to make snap judgements of people based on their accent, education, ethnicity class or profession.”

Harry and Meghan left the Royal Family on March 31, and now live in Los Angeles.

The exit is said to have “forever changed” William and Harry’s relationship, according to another royal insider.

They added to People magazine: “They won’t get back to the way they were.

“Harry is looking straight ahead at his future with his family.”

Meghan and Harry have said they did not contribute to the explosive tell-all.

A spokesman for the former Sussex royals said: “The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were not interviewed and did not contribute to Finding Freedom.

“This book is based on the authors’ own experiences as members of the royal press corps and their own independent reporting.”

Neither of the royal brothers have confirmed the contents of ‘Finding Freedom’.
