Prince Harry continued: “It’s for that reason I created the Invictus Games – to give injured servicemen and women a platform to excel and reaffirm their values of resilience, of community and strength, which are inherent in each and every one of us.”
Royal editor Russell Myers said Prince Harry’s words demonstrate his “yearning” for military titles to be reinstated in his name.
Mr Myers said the Duke would likely be looking forward to the day he is able to take up military appointments again.
Speaking on Lorraine, Mr Myers said: “One of the main points with the divorce deals with the rest of the Royal Family, and the thing that hurt him the most, was that he [had to] stand down from his military appointments.
