Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, and Prince Harry have been branded “woke” royals following their public stance on certain issues from around the world. But one royal expert believes Prince William has done more than the Sussexes to champion issues such as the environment.

Last year, the Duke of Cambridge unveiled an environmental initiative called Earthshot.

The project aimed to recognise and reward people who come up with innovative ideas to take on environmental issues.

Earthshot has planned to give five awards to those people every year.

Its goal is to support 50 ideas by 2030.

Prince Harry also has an environmental initiative called Travalyst.

The project aimed to encourage people to travel in a more environmentally-friendly way.

However, royal author Robert Lacey has said that Prince William has accomplished more concrete solutions with his project than his brother.

Mr Lacey, who recently wrote a book detailing the brother’s alleged rift, said he finds the Sussexes “too preachy”.

He also claimed Prince William, who recently launched this year’s Earthshot Prize, does more for some progressive causes than his brother.

Prince William and Prince Harry’s father, Prince Charles has also led the way in promoting environmental causes.

The Prince of Wales has been raising awareness of climate change and promoting sustainability for years.

He has even caused some British politicians to raise alarm about whether Prince Charles has overstepped into political territory.

The Prince of Wales is even said to have annoyed his parents due to his campaigning.

Royal expert Angela Levin told Channel 5: “He annoyed his parents, actually.

“They felt he was weak, they felt they couldn’t trust him to be king, that he had all these funny ideas about spiritualism and plastic in the sea.”

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been giving several talks about various issues over the past months.

They have met virtually with non-profit organisations and influential figures.

The couple have discussed the upcoming US election, the Black Lives Matter movement and women’s empowerment.
