Princess Beatrice, 32, and Edoardo, 37, known as Edo, secretly tied the knot during an intimate ceremony in July. Further details of the special day have emerged after a royal fan shared a card she received from the bride’s mother Sarah Ferguson.
Fergie sent royal well-wishers a black-and-white photograph of the newlyweds, as they walked through the grounds of the Royal Chapel of All Saints in Royal Lodge, Windsor.
The stunning snap shows the couple gazing into one another’s eyes, while walking hand-in-hand moments after saying their nuptials.
Fergie accompanied the commemorative card with a thank you letter to their royal supporters who could not join in with the celebration due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The Duchess of York wrote: “Thank you so much for your amazingly caring and supportive messages for Beatrice and Edo’s future happiness.
“It was a glorious day; the sun smiled down upon them.
“We were all delighted to be able to come together and celebrate their love for one another.
“Beatrice looked stunning and Edo handsome—their love shone through.”
She added: “We are so happy to welcome Edo into our family and thank him for his love and devotion to Beatrice.”
“Edo and I had a magical day filled with special moments with our families.
“We are so grateful to all those who have worked hard to protect our communities over the last few months, we owe them so much.”
They added: “Thank you for thinking of us as we begin our married life. Beatrice and Edo x.”
