Princess Eugenie celebrated her mother’s 61st birthday by sharing on her Instagram account photographs of the Duchess of York. In the first picture, Sarah, also known as Fergie by family and friends, looks playfully at the camera while sitting on a fake red-and-white mushroom.
In another, Fergie smells a flower, while the third snap is a selfie of Princess Eugenie and her mother.
Other snaps included in the post show a young Fergie with her two beloved daughters Eugenie and Beatrice, the Duchess sitting in the gardens at the Royal Lodge and a close-up picture of the 61-year-old.
The Princess, who is pregnant with her first child, added a personal message as a caption for the pictures.
Revealing a sweet monicker she uses with her mother, Princess Eugenie wrote: “Happy Birthday to my dear mumsy…”
She continued: “You are one of a kind.
“There were too many pictures to choose from that show how completely unique you are.”
Several royal fans rushed to also mark Sarah’s birthday.
