The 94-year-old monarch noticed how one-year-old Archie had a streak of red in his hair, according to a family friend. This could mean the little man may grow up to be a red-head like his father, Prince Harry. The Queen frequently calls and video chats with her grandson Harry and reportedly loves watching Archie onscreen.
It must be hard for her and Prince Charles to see Archie growing up across the Atlantic and not be able to see him.
The coronavirus pandemic meant that the Sussexes had to stay put once they decided to go to the US.
Fortunately, Meghan Markle and Harry intend on spending an extended period of time in the UK next year and Archie will be able to spend time with his family then.
According to royal author Omid Scobie, Archie also has a habit of crashing his parents’ work Zoom calls.

He said on his podcast ‘The HeirPod’: “I loved discovering [Harry and Meghan’s] daily Zoom calls with various initiatives and people they work with.
“And how Archie is no stranger to climbing in front of the web camera and making little impromptu cameos.”
This is an experience many parents have shared during the lockdown, as they juggle work and family life.
Harry’s brother Prince William also admitted having the children home has been rather tiring.
He added: “For some reason he sees the red button and always wants to press the red button.”
It is believed Harry called the Queen and his father for his birthday yesterday, when he turned 36 ‒ the same age his mother Diana was when she tragically died in a car accident in 1997.
The Duke even likely called his brother William, with whom he has had a strained relationship with in recent months and years.
A royal source told Vanity Fair: “They always talk on important days like this.”
Last year, Harry admitted he and William were “on different paths” and did not see each other as much as they used to.
He told Tom Bradby, during an interview for the programme ‘Harry & Meghan: An African Journey’, that as brothers they have “good days and bad days”.
According to a new biography of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex entitled ‘Finding Freedom’, Harry took offence at William advising him to take things slow with Meghan at the beginning of their courtship.
The brothers’ relationship deteriorated over time and when Harry and Meghan decided to step down as senior royals this year, they went several months without speaking at all.
However, the princes have reportedly smoothed things out now and things are said to be “better” between them.
Hopefully this means Archie will be able to spend time with his cousins ‒ Prince George, seven, Princess Charlotte, five and Prince Louise, two ‒ when he is in the UK.
According to Finding Freedom, Harry used to frequently visit his brother at Kensington Palace, bringing gifts for the children, but this stopped when their relationship started to break down.
