A source told him: “If they go to Sandringham, their traditional Boxing Day shoot could still take place, enabling them to see members of the family unable to join them on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.”
Shooting, under the Tory Government’s rules, classes as an outdoors sport and allows up to 30 people to take part.
As such, all the royals could get together on the Sandringham state and shoot together for Christmas.
Doing so would also allow them to establish bubbles with other families.
