That means a Royal Family reunion at Sandringham, as is tradition, is likely off the cards, and as Zara and Mike have already turned down one holiday with the Queen, they could probably do it again.
Zara, Mike and their daughters Mia and Lena have been regulars at Sandringham for Christmas with the Queen over the years.
This would not be the first time the Tindalls miss out on a royal Christmas.
Last year, the couple and their two young daughters were nowhere to be seen during the holidays.
