In this year’s Christmas Day speech, the monarch reflected on the past year and spoke of her pride in the nation. She said: “In the United Kingdom and around the world, people have risen magnificently to the challenges of the year, and I am so proud and moved by this quiet, indomitable spirit.” However, it seems the Queen could be parting ways with a number of royal duties as she prepares to mark her 68th year on the throne.
Earlier on this year Queen Elizabeth II raised fears her abdication from the thrown was imminent after allowing Prince William to take on more “high profile” roles.
The Queen is just five years away from becoming the longest-reigning monarch of all time.
After the sudden death of her father in 1952, Queen Elizabeth ascended the throne at the young age of 25.
Now, Royal astrologer Debbie Frank has predicted the younger royals could be set to take on more of the Queen’s high profile roles in 2021.
Writing for HELLO!, she said: “Turning 95 in April is a huge milestone birthday and the Queen’s Spring stars are when joyful Jupiter makes a celebratory fly-past of her own Jupiter and Mars.
“Saturn also opposes her Moon, signifying a great marker point in her reign and a completion which could mean she will pass over some of the responsibilities to the younger royals.
The astrology expert also predicted 2021 will be a big year for popular royals Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton.
She added: “2021 looks set to be one of Kate’s most demanding years yet as her Venus and Mercury are in the eye of a perfect celestial storm.”

Meanwhile, Meghan Markle’s platform that grew significantly in 2020 is set to flourish this year.
She added: “Meghan’s 2021 continues her push to establish a huge role in the world.
“She will forge partnerships with organisations that give her a powerful platform,” she teased.
However, Ms Frank suspected there could be a bump in the road in her relationship with Prince Harry.
She added: “There are complications that filter through into her relationship with Harry.
“From May onwards her knack of surprising us all will come to the fore.”
The warning comes amid reports the Queen has been urged to strip Meghan Markle and Prince Harry of their Sussex titles after many feared Prince Charles was snubbed from their new Archewell campaign.
On the homepage of the Archewell website is a picture of Diana, Princess of Wales with son Harry on her shoulders.
In another image, a young Meghan stands as her mother Doria Ragland crouches down to hug her daughter.
This resulted in many commentators criticising the couple for not including Prince Charles in the picture, despite his own charitable efforts including him setting up the Prince’s Trust to help vulnerable people.
