ROBBIE WILLIAMS has caused a major stir by seemingly breaking royal protocol at the wedding of Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank at St George’s Chapel in Windsor today.
X Factor judge Robbie Williams and his co-star wife Ayda Field were among the famous A-listers who attended the Royal Wedding between Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank.
Not only was the American star, 39, slammed for her silver white wedding outfit, her spouse was also spotted having to chase his mother-in-law’s hat after it blew off her head in the gusty wind.
To make matters worse, the hitmaker, 44, was caught furiously chewing gum inside the church ahead of the big ceremony a royal faux-pas.
The former Take That member was spotted doing the same thing footballer David Beckham was called out for at Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s wedding in May.
Fans rushed to social media as one commented: “Shame Robbie Williams has no social skills, sitting there chewing gum.”
Another said: “Oh Robbie…ditch the gum love #notagoodlook @robbiewilliams #RoyalWedding.”
Despite his royal blunder, Robbie and Ayda had a lot to look forward to ahead of Princess Eugenie’s wedding.
The couple’s six-year-old daughter, Thodora “Teddy” Rose Williams, took part in the bridal party, acting as one of the bridesmaids.
Teddy looked adorable as she was spotted waving to the cameras before she entered the church.
The six-year-old could be seen inside happily chuckling while she practised her wave and talking with a fellow pageboy.
She and Prince George walked into St George’s Chapel alongside Princess Charlotte, Mia Tindall, Louis de Givenchy, Savannah Phillips, Maud Windsor and Isla Phillips.
Her brunette locks were partly tied up in a floral headband and the rest of her tresses curled by her shoulders.
The bridesmaid was wearing a white dress with a ruffle around the neckline
Both Ayda and Robbie have been in the spotlight following the return of The X Factor as the pair are co-judges on the show.
