A number of shocking claims have been made about the Royal Family in the bombshell biography Finding Freedom. The new book, by royal reporters Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand, is jam-packed full of allegations about Meghan and Harry’s private lives, including rows with Prince William and Kate, Duchess of Cambridge, and even the Queen.
The book, which hit the shelves on Tuesday, is packed with previously unknown details about the events leading up to their decision to quit as senior members of the Royal Family.
For example, the authors appear to have confirmed months of speculation about a rift between the two royal brothers.
It claimed Harry believed William was being “snobbish” and was angry when his older brother kept referring to Meghan as “this girl”.
It is feared many of the claims made in the book could prompt the collapse of the British monarchy – but what do you think?
Officials at Buckingham Palace have repeatedly said “no comment” when questioned on the sensational claims made in the book.
The Queen and other members of the Royal Family have also refused to give an official statement on the matter – but do you think the monarch should respond to the claims?
Moreover, do you think it would be appropriate for the Queen to abdicate the throne and allow a new generation of younger royals to lead the country and the Commonwealth?
Currently Prince Charles, 71, is first in line to the throne, followed by his eldest son Prince William, 38.

But there has been widespread speculation from royal commentators and experts over whether Harry and Meghan gave their inner circle consent to speak to the royal authors for the biography.
Royal author Penny Junor said “extraordinarily personal and private details” indicate “they colluded”.
She said: “I suspect they wanted to get their story and their feelings about how they were treated out into the public arena.”
As a result, do you think the pair should be stripped of their official royal Sussex title?
When Meghan and Harry stood down as senior royals earlier this year, they were told they could no longer use their HRH (His Royal Highness/Her Royal Highness) titles, but they would still be known as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
The book has also led experts to claim the couple have burned all bridges with the Royal Family, and will never return to frontline duties.
One royal household source said: “The review period has not yet been discussed but it doesn’t seem if there is any way of going back now.
“Some very private family matters have now been aired in public, seemingly with their blessing. That will be hurtful.”
But what do you think, should Meghan and Harry rejoin the frontline of the Royal Family?
