In the past seven days, the region has reported 72,971 cases equating to a rate of 814.2 per 100,000 people.
According to the ZOE Covid Study app, which tracks the rate of prevalence of the virus each day and provides insight into the risk of each area moving tiers, London is in an area which has seen the rate of infection rise in the past seven days.
The current prevalence rate in London is at 814.2 per 100,000 population meaning there is a risk of stricter measures being rolled out.
