Job losses: Major cuts since the start of the pandemic:
More than 6,000 jobs have been lost or put at risk so far this week, as firms have prepared for the winding down of the Government’s furlough scheme.
High street firms have led the recent wave of job cuts this month, with many choosing to restructure their operations after being impacted by the nationwide lockdown.
