UK coronavirus vaccine breakthrough: Pfizer jab will be given to Britons from Monday | UK | News (Reports)

The companies application was approved by the European Medicines Agency after it was submitted earlier this week. The UK has already secured 40 million doses of the vaccine, which is 95 percent efficiency proven. Matt Hancock said this morning: “Yes we will have it ready from early next week. This vaccine is effective, clinically safe and we have a vaccine. It is very good news.”

Sky News tweeted: “The Government has confirmed that the Pfizer and Biontech Covid-19 vaccine has been approved by the Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency.”
