Mike Tindall’s “elated” tweet after he and Zara welcomed their first child has thrilled royal fans. Royally Obsessed podcast hosts Rachel Bowie and Roberta Fiorito discovered the social media post. This comes as the due date of Princess Anne’s daughter and son-in-law’s new royal baby is fast approaching.
Ms Bowie told listeners: “We know that Zara Tindall is pregnant and expecting her third child with Mike.
“Let’s flashback to 2014 when their first, Mia Grace, was born.
“At the time, Mike posted on Twitter.”
The tweet read: “Thanks so much for all your kind messages.”

It continued: “Definitely the best day of my life today, so happy!
“The girls are both doing great!”
Ms Fiorito laughed: “He’s like an elated first time dad.
“It was so cute and sweet.”
Currently the royal couple have two children: Mia Grace, aged six, and Lena Elizabeth, aged 2.
The podcast hosts also revealed Mike’s preference for his third child.
Ms Fiorito told listeners: “He said he’s hoping for a boy, which is funny to say.
“He said ‘oh we want a boy after two girls’.
“But he did add that he would be happy no matter what.”
