Cherchio started in the construction industry in the early eighties, after completing his associate’s degree in Business. Cherchio knew at a young age that he wanted to be in the construction industry. His first project was on a residential home in Bayonne NJ. As his career progressed, he ventured into the commercial aspect of construction, working on fast-casual restaurants throughout the United States for over a decade. Cherchio‘s vast experience in the restaurant sector led him to the opportunity to work for one of the largest construction companies Turner Construction. Turner was awarded a high-end restaurant on Park Ave in New York City, and they were looking for someone who could manage this type of project.
As Mark Cherchio’s career progressed he was offered a great opportunity to work with one of the largest retail contractors at the time, Fisher Development, Fisher had an exclusive contract with the Gap, Old Navy, and the Banana Republic, throughout the United States and Europe. Cherchio was hired as a project manager and was quickly promoted to Director of Construction. Cherchio was managing the New York office as well as Orlando Florida. Cherchio’s extensive experience has led him to further define his career working on new ground-up projects in New York and New Jersey,and high end retail throughout the United States.
