Prince Harry will have his HRH title removed from notices at the new royal fashion exhibition, which features his mum Princess Diana’s wedding dress.

The exhibition launched earlier this week, and features a sign which says Diana’s iconic gown was “lent by HRH the Duke of Cambridge and HRH the Duke of Sussex.”

However, 36 year old Harry and pregnant wife Meghan Markle, 39, permanently stepped down as senior members of the Royal family earlier this year, meaning he is no longer able to use his HRH title.

A historical deal struck at Sandringham means the couple, who married in May 2018, are able to keep their HRH titles, but not use them.

The Royal Collection Trust, who oversaw the loan of the dresses for the Kensington Palace exhibition, says the labels are “incorrect and will be updated”, citing an “administrative error” for the inclusion of the title.

The announcement came hours after it was noticed that Harry and Meghan have been demoted on the official Royal family website.

They have been moved below Sophie Wessex, Prince Edward and Prince Andrew in the pecking order.
